Sudden death

:( this is one that they sell at a farm and feed store too... I'll take that one down right away. The room stays at about 80° all day. I'll buy a new light the ir one at the other feed store where I get the food.
Hopefully that helps..I'm actually stumped with what's causing you your losses..:idunno

How many do you have left? Maybe switch out feed and get a new light [red with lower wattage 150 would probably be fine.] don't give up we all learn by our experiences and some are very hard when we lose lives but We do learn. So hopefully this will turn out great in the end. :hugs

get your current feed out in good light smell and look at it closely for mold, It may not be the feed also check date on when put up on the bag. May just been the bulb. And you know the feed store folks know a whole lot less than us about what is good for poultry they probably ordered these bulbs with no idea they were dangerous to poultry.

I'll look. The bag is almost gone so replacing it if it might be contaminated isn't gonna set me back on anything. (Would replace it even if it was brand new.)
