Oh no sorry for Your loss. So what you do is put milk in their Waterers, trust me I have had this problem several times, and I have done this Technique every time it happens. It never Fails, give them 24 hours and tell me how they are doing.

Turkey hens start laying before a year old, I've never kept track of an average age since it doesn't make them start laying any sooner. Turkeys reach full weight between 1 to 2 years old, most my toms don't live that long. As to most expensive.... that's just like a chicken. You have to have what the buyer wants and for what the buyer is willing to pay. One would think that a harder to find variety would cost more, but most of the time it really limits your market base also, which influences prices also.

I would love to see pictures of her. I have thought of having one, but pigs here become bacon with a side of eggs. I did box turtles as a kid and snakes. Wouldn't mind a snake now, but the other half isn't too fond of them. Which is the main reason they are caught and released into the woods 10 or so miles down the road when I see them.

Thanks! He is long in the back the high tail angle makes it look short in the photo. He is super dark in color he sheens green in the sun. That is why I am going to breed him to my young pullet. She has a low tail angle she is long in the back and she is light in color which is going to be a perfect combo.

Well considering you are new.... you don't have the history, so maybe he's not proving her point, maybe he's speaking more from experience,
