Thanks again for hosting! I bet you had a hard time stuffing my padded return envelope, b/c the one I sent you looked like a stuffed pillow ready to burst!

I wasn't thinking about the different sizes or Alethea's extra squares either. Let me know if you had to pay extra for mine and I'll slip it to you in the mail.

When I get my package I'll check the postage and if I owe you any more I will send it to you. There's no point in you having to put out for extra postage.

I got the newsletter out for the Masonic Lodge so that is out of the way for a few weeks at least. Maybe during that time the kids will get to move into their new home. My grandson left today for his other grandparents home to spend the night as they live closer to Ontario airport than I do. I sent him off with some homemade cookies to eat on the way. He flies out at 6 in the morning.

It's very windy tonight with a cold front coming down from the north. We aren't expected to get any rain out of it, just wind and cooler temps.
That suits me fine.

LOL Yeah that poor envelope was stuffed to the gills and I had 4 more people's squares to add to it. At that point we admitted defeat and switched you to a box instead. No don't worry about it. Seriously it's not worth the gas or postage to send it when it is such a small amount. I just mentioned it so you all wouldn't be wondering what happened to the boxes or envelopes you sent your squares in.
Plus a little of the extra room I needed was because I sent a little something extra that you all weren't expecting and it's not fair that I charge more because I got a bug in my ear and decided to throw in one more thing. The extra item I sent would not have shipped well in the envelope. Otherwise I would have switched to a Tyvek bag which would have weighed even less. Then the difference would have been a few cents only.

Haha! Your's really is only a few cents more! It is just not worth the stamp to send it. OK I'm starting to feel bad for saying anything. My whole donation was under $10 for everyone and, like I said, that was partly my fault. Especially in your case cause I could get your box to close (if we mashed it down really hard) til I added my little thank you gift to it. Plus there is something else in there from one of the other participants which I forwarded to you from her. I don't want to spoil the surprise but you will love it! Please don't send me a check for the few cents difference.

We are getting some moisture from that same system. The forecast calls for 3 days of snow and rain with a 30% chance on Thursday as well. I didn't believe it when I first read the forecast since it has been pretty nice the last couple of nights but DH and I were out getting the rest of the shingles on one coop and the dog's shed, and the temps plummeted! Right now I have no trouble imagining snow. It is really cold out there! brrrrrr

All the coops are ready for the snow and rain now though so I feel about as ready as we can be for the storm. We also went and stocked up on supplies. We are only expecting 3" of snow but I hate having to run into town in the rain or snow if I don't have to.

I have not taken all the squares (and rectangles) out of their baggies yet but the parts I can see... you all have outdone yourselves! I was so excited to see the funky 12 inch square in there that Kaussandra made... I fell in love with it when she posted the picture. I can't wait to get these out and piece them together.

Wow! That was super fast! I'm so glad you like them and your gift. Yes I made it. My grand daughters loved them so much when they came to visit (I had them laid out in various stages in my craft room) that I had to make more for them to do as well. It has been a very fun project.

Woo hoo! I never dreamed that 1 would get there that fast. Now 2 of you got them already! You are very welcome. The blue one was made with my Grand Daughters' help, lol. They got a little carried away with the bling I'm afraid but they loved it and were so excited that I was sharing it with folks across the country. I couldn't disappoint them and not use it. Maybe Jess would like that one?
