I was just looking up the amethyst and there is some very interesting stuff out there about them. They come in just about every color of purple from very light (lav bluee) to deep, rich purple (like our plum perfect) and they are used for healing and to promote purity in the home. Very cool crystal!

No problem!!! I remembered it b/c I looked it up as soon as you posted it, b/c I LOVE purple and it's one of the first yarn colors on the list I was able to find to buy. I love amethyst b/c it's my birth stone. Maybe that's why I love purple so much. Very cool info!

I tried to find Caron Simply Soft Party/Royal Sparkle on JoAnn's site, but can't find it. Am I blind???? I thought for sure I looked it up there another time. Today is the last day for FREE shipping and I thought I'd order from them.

For all of you that had to order it where did you get it from? I did find it on The Caron site, but was really wanting the FREE shipping. LOL!!!

I even put in the item number then tried the sku. Not listed under it's color name either and not listed under any caron products. Now I'm thinking I better go get the last 2 skeins they had at the store! It is such a pretty yarn but still soft to the touch unlike some metallic yarns.

Sunny I thought I saw it on the Joann's site, b/c it's usually the first place I go to check out colors. Ok, good to know I'm not going cuckoo!!!

I'll keep my eyes out for it here at the stores and if I can't find it I will order from Caron. Yea, free shipping would be nice, but I think you have to spend $50 or more to get the free shipping. My DH would kill me if I ordered that much yarn.

Usually you do have to spend a certain amount to get the free shipping, but every once in a while they will have a no limit w/ free shipping.
