I need the address, I have 2 left to finish, but I don't have the address lol!
I'll send you a pm.

I'm sorry swappers, but I still have 4 more to finish, then tuck tails, tag & bag. Good news is that the rectangle are working up pretty quick now that I understand the pattern.

Last week was a bit hectic or shall I say more hectic than the new normal.

Dh & I had a 9 yr old little boy staying w/ us last Sun night through Thur afternoon b/c his mom was in the hospital. We had to take him to school, over see homework and make sure he got to karate.

We also had DH's 80 yr old uncle staying with us and another one of DH's uncles popped in town on his way back from a trip out to Yellow Stone. These are his mom's brothers. Another one of her brothers lives here. She has 2 more sisters. One lives in Atlanta and one in Ca. Unfortunately her Sisters were not here, but cool to be able to get together w/ 3 of her brothers.

Last week we had many apt all week long to get business bank acct set up, fill out paper work for credit card terminal, phone land installed, wireless internet, security system install, insurance quotes, trying to get sales tax id #, etc... Very crazy week!

Good news was I was able to do a little crocheting while sitting w/ the little boy as he did some homework.

I thought I had my time and squares all planned out to do x number of them a day through the weekend to have them finished by Sun night, but DD came home from school for the weekend and DH's family planned get togethers for us to host since both uncles were in town at the same time.

I will work real hard as to not hold all of you up,esp since Sunny wants to get them all in to sort before she takes a trip soon. I actually crocheted a rectangle this morning and can get back to them after work tonight.

Ok back I have to get back to work. I hope everyone has a fantastic Mon.

Sunnydawn, glad the speech and day went well it is awesome that your husband and you could be a vehicle to help so many others, you just never know how far your "ripples" travel on the pond.

Oh he'll love that Kassaundra! I'm going to tell him you said that. :)

I mailed my blocks off today as promised.

If I hadn't I don't know when they would have been mailed. It's been a hectic summer with my daughter and her family and family of 5 dogs but an enjoyable one just the same. we were to go on vacation starting Thursday but we've had to cancel. My son in laws mother passed away yesterday so he had to return to WA to be with family. I have the dogs and my GS puppy. Did I say "puppy/" She is 4 months old and weighs 38 lbs and is almost as big as the other dogs since they are GS/Lab's, G. Shorthair, G. Retriever and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They are so good though and good company for my pup. She's learning good habits from them also.

Will check in from time to time but will be busy for a few days. The Red Cross notified my grandson and granddaughter stationed in Afghanistan. My grandson can come home but my granddaughter can't. I guess it's up to the CO's and hers doesn't think a grandmother is immediate family. i guess I know where I stand.....

Can't wait to get my blocks. The one's I've seen are so pretty.

Hi Betty! Yes, it's been a crazy hectic summer for me as well. I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your son in law's mother. Sorry you had to cancel your vacation as well. Glad your puppy is doing well. She sounds so smart & precious! You need to post an updated pic of her when you get a chance. I can't believe she's grown so much. My youngest dog, Harper needs to get her yearly vaccinations and I'm anxious to see how much she weighs. She is so wide, but solid. My Dh calls her "Girtha" or "Log Dog". Poor baby is going to get a complex. She's not really fat, doesn't over eat, but is just sooooooo big!

That's terrible! When my Mom passed it was as hard on my son as it was on me. They were very close.
I look forward to getting your squares soon! This is so exciting!

Awwww, can we get a pic of Harper? I need to take pics of my puppies as well. They are getting quite heavy and are due for their puppy shots soon. I'm trying to figure out how to wrangle six very active, squirmy puppies to the vet all at once! lol

I just saw this! Too funny! No, not Red Bull. I can't take that kind of caffeine, but I do drink a lot of strong coffee in the morning.

Quote: I'll have to take a new pic b/c I know she is much wider now! Her other nickname is "Fatty Watty". She just smiles and wags her tail. Such a happy girl all the time. Oooooooo yes please post some updated pics of the cute puppies.

I picked up a couple of padded, water resistant bubble mailing pads to mail my swaps. I have 2 more to complete.

I should be able to knock them out tonight.

I went to another Walmart and they had the Caron Simply Soft (Bone) on sale for $2.50 a skein, so I grabbed a few. I was hoping to get some more Perfect Plum, but they didn't have any left. I know I will end up using more of that color when I make more squares for my own afghan.
