Summer 2012 Granny "Square" Swap (sign ups closed)

OMG my female shepherd was wandering in and out of the house while I was feeding the puppies! I bet she did hit that stupid lock. She was outside when the door slammed shut so at least she wasn't locked inside all that time!
LOL If this story keeps someone else from getting locked out I guess it wasn't a loss after all.

Yeah, it was not pretty, Carl wasn't hurt badly, but he could have been. It was about 6.5 feet down.

My DH locked himself in the chicken coop day before yesterday. I was in the house cooking a family Thanksgiving dinner fro my grandson who goes back to Afghanistan on Monday and I wondered where he was because he said he would water the chickens for me and didn't come back to help me. I thought he'd got side trackd but in actuality he was sitting on a bucket waiting for me to let hime out. I guess we'll have to do something about that door. I also told him he needed to carry his cell phone with him, which I've told him to do many times, as I'm afraid he'll fall and need me. If he'd had it with him he could have called.

I took these yesterday even though I told DH I would rest all day so don't snitch on me. lol I was gonna post them last night but my brother was visiting and borrowed my modem all evening. Nuff 'squeses. Here they are!!!

I am so thrilled with all of the squares! I just can't believe what beautiful work you have all done! Even the folks that said they were doing very basic squares have done beautiful work! You will all love them so much!!!

The squares are half-way sorted now. I have new appreciation for the former hosts! This part is actually a lot of work. I kept at it til my back wouldn't let me keep going any longer and DH has promised to help me finish up tomorrow. Then off to the Post Office etc. I have included a small item for each of you as a token of my thanks for your participation in my first ever BYC swap as host. I won't say what it is but I hope you all like them.

As much as I can't wait to get them I really can't wait to see what everyone does w/ them.

The sorting part seems like it would be the hardest part especially w/ all the sizes in this swap. It helps that there are no bad blocks though.
