Okay, I know I've probably already said it but since folks are already starting to wrap things up please remember to tack a piece of paper on your blocks with your screen name and location before sending. I'll test my hand embroidery trying to put the info into my quilt:) Thanks everyone!

Well this is the first time I have been able to log on to BYC in 3 weeks my home computer will not let me. I changed to chrome and Now nothing, but my other quilting sites require it.
I finally went to the library to get on. Yay!
I'm progressing but have changed my block, I will try to get my pc in line. So I can post some photos.

I would go to the trouble shooting page in BYC and if you can't figure out what is going on and how to fix it report it, because I run chrome and knock on wood I am ok. Looking forward to seeing your new block. I am just now getting my fabric together, having that done I am eager to make my blocks.

If we all finish early we can swap early.

Kat, the trouble is it will not even let the BYC page load-it freezes- so I can't even look anywhere on BYC.
Over at my brothers tonight, I will check here about the trouble shooting, then go home and try again....

I am excited about this block swap. Just started gathering some fabrics together from my never ending fabric stash. Though I sew almost daily and run a small business were sewing is my #1 job I have never quilted! So my blocks will be pretty simple, I hope others don't mind! But I am going to enjoy it a lot!

We don't mind at all, I'm still new to quilting, I used to sew and sometimes making clothes seems easier to me. Try this site, I love it this is where I get my patterns from.

http://www.quilterscache.com/

scroll down to the drop down menu and select free patterns then on the right is block size. These sizes all use the scant 1/4 seam, since I can never seem to remember to move my needle I make the blocks a little bigger and use a regular 1/4 seam. Usually I just make my blocks 4" square and go from there. The main trick is making sure you start with squared squares. The Missouri Quilt Co. has some wonderful videos on how to's learned some short cuts there.
Have fun

I would delete the chrome and re-install well I hope you see this or your brother can fix your PC, take it to him and say fix it don't forget the sad puppy dog eyes

My son is the wiz kid for the PC and when he comes home which isn't near enough since the Navy has other ideas. I usually hand him my laptop and say tune it up course I also say don't change too much or I won't be able to find my way around.
