Oh, and if I didn't say, The Death of Santini is really good as well if you have read Conroy's other books. It gives a lot of background and an update on how his father mellowed and their relationship changed in his old age.

Already finished The Other Black Girl. I highly recommend that one!The Other Black Girl just became available from my holds list. I'm going to jump into that one. The Wife Upstairs was pretty good, but not exceptional. Some good plot twists however.
