I have a bunch (13 as of yesterday) of BBS Ameraucana eggs that I can't eat due to medication and DW won't let incubate anymore. If you want them...

Would love them but no way to hatch any eggs, since my 2nd broody is due to hatch her eggs in 5 days.

Anyone else. I now have 16.

I will give them to anyone who wants them.
I will be tossing them this weekend.
I am in Topeka every work day.
If you have a good hatch I wouldn't mind a pullet from them.

I'll meet you tomorrow to get them, if you want to message me your number and extension I can come by the front o your work and meet you... And get babies off to schellie69 if they hatch out (when I deliver some silkies, sound good schellie69?)...

Okay I guess I'll have to get those peepers. I have the most pathetic looking chickens. I have searched several for mites or any other varmits and nothing. I have girls with newly broken off feathers and some with with bare spots on their wings and backs where a thin layer of feather is being removed. I'm telling you, they look awful. I hear national is the cheapest available. I want to get some ordered right away, like this evening. Now should I put them on them all? Since I don't know who the culprits are, as I think this is happening mostly at night when they're shut up in the coop. I need to sell some of my girls too, as I've known all winter I had too many for my coop. DH talked me out of selling last fall and now they are a mess. It's down right embarrassing, for me not the chickens. I also need to re-home my partridge cochin roo. He's about a yr old and just too hard on my girls. He practically throws them to the ground trying to mount. Very rough. And he's been getting aggressive with me and my granddaughter, the little fart! Did he learn nothing when I gave the other roo to a friend for that very reason? He ended up a fine meal.

Thank you I only want a couple, I lost my blue Ameraucana and would love another blue, and maybe a splash I am keeping my fingers crossed that you have a great hatch. I think my DH is going to shoot me, I am getting a few wheaten marans and then a few Ameraucana's from you and DD is getting silkies. I am so dead.

I do have 2 SLW I think are roosters so they will become supper if no one wants them. I got them out of the pullet bin.

Hope everyone is staying cool in this hot weather. I am hoping to have pen done this weekend. I have to make a trip to Bellville to pick up some clothes for the grand daughters.

Thanks for the thoughts.....we had .10" of rain at the house and enough to run us out of the field we were cutting in. At our son's house 3 miles from our house they had a little more rain and quite a bit of hail damage to our wheat field over there. Can't seem to catch a break with this wheat crop.
