We have gotten a few sprinkles this morning and now I hear thunder!

They say its coming up from TX and will be here tonight.

Must be moving fast as its 8 hrs @ 70 mph.

All I saw on the radar was a storm working up our way from the Wichita area! Didn't look like it'll be here anytime soon!

How funny Renee - I was doing the same. I specifically looked for that area knowing how badly Katy needs it, and it certainly looked at that point like they were going to get hit. Meanwhile, we finally got a little moisture this morning, and it is thundering again now. I hope it does more than thunder - the small amount we got so far does nothing to make up for the deficit so far this year.

My 2 1/2 week old chicks are outside in a sheltered run for the day. As long as the temp stays in the 70's they seem perfectly happy and it will be good for them to know about weather elements before they get turned out full-time.

Hey all!

Just wanted to check in and let you in on a deal I found on Craigslist. I know how everyone here loves the wire mesh so, if you're near Leavenworth, then this is a deal is for you. This guy is selling 100-foot rolls for $30 each!

I called him early in the week and got no response. My wife also called and just now received a return her call. We have secured two rolls and will be picking it up on Friday.

I'm a little concerned looking at the photo of the guy in the ad — it's kinda creepy.
