Trimming/cutting anything that large would be difficult on table or band saw unless you had big support table adjacent. A fine toothed blade in a circular saw would be best if using a power saw....blade type (TPI) is key.

We tried several of the suggestions we found online but that wasn't one of them. The problem we had was that it wants to crack. Snippers resulted in more crack than cut and it looked like a 5YO had done it. A circular saw was better but it's such a flexible material that keeping it rigid enough to cut without binding was challenging. So, table saw it was. We had the clear version. If I were to do it over, plexi window and metal roof whether hubby likes it or not.Better yet a band saw with a fine tooth blade.
My husband and I were looking at this as a roof for our run. Right now it's covered with hardware cloth and tarp and we know the tarp won't last. I'm sure hubby already has his plans, but for my curiosity, how did you connect the panels?$15 per 8' sheet at Lowes. Easier to cut with snips than 5 ridge metal roofing is.

Thanks!Just overlap them. That's what the double V is for on each side. One stacks on top of the other. They make a 12' version if you need to go longer than 8'. If you have to go longer than 12' just overlap the ends like shingles. Then just screw them down on the flat face with self-drilling hex head screws that have a metal washer with a rubber gasket. Lowes had instructions next to the panels.
On purlins.Thanks---so you have experience with winter!
Did you install the Ondura over plywood or on purlins?
We would be using purlins with whatever spacing the manufacturer recommends.
I look forward to seeing the manifestation.Update: We decided on the SunTuf panels in Solar Gray. DH is finalizing his plans, mumbling to himself about "bird's mouths."
It will be done before the first snowfall.
Thanks to everyone here for their ideas and advice!
