SunTuf Polycarbonate Roof Panels?

Thanks.
We rarely get hail here but the SunTuf panels have a ten year warranty against hail damage. Like any warranty, probably not worth much, but it's nice to see it there anyway.
I like the metal roof idea but I was outvoted.
Have fun with your project.
Be REAL careful with the shower doors---we were replacing one once and the safety glass shattered. Sounded like a billion marbles hitting the floor.
The swearing was louder, though. :barnie
Yeah, told husband his idea of just caulking them to two boards was not enough support. The glass is not really heavy.

Can I just say about the hail resistance, they won't be broken by any little bit of hail. The hail storm that broke the sheets on the patio was a big one, and the size of the hail was also big - golf balls, not ice cubes. They would have survived many previous hail storms - hail isn't uncommon here.
Also, the sheets out the back had been up for some time, they do get more brittle over time and older brittle ones are more likely to break than with new ones.
For "normal" hail, they're as good as colorbond, IMO. (The hail storm did also wreck the colorbond roofing but only by denting it all over not punching holes in it)

Just for the record, I think I cut mine with scissors....will try pruners next time, as if I recall correctly the humps weren't that easy. But it was easy to get a sharp cut. I even cut the panel in half at Home Depot so I could fit it in the car.
