Mites have been an on-going battle here. But i have one little D'Anver hen with them and i can not get rid of them. i dropped Ivermectin on the back of her neck and dusted her with Poultry Dust. She still had them. i retreated with the Ivermectin two days later and redusted. She still has them. i sprayed her with Poultry Protector. Still there. i dusted her again with the Poultry Dust. i just checked her again and i see the mites crawling around amidst the poultry dust on her bottom.
What is going on? Is there some sort of super mite out there that refuses to die? i treated the other hens and their mites are gone. Why would she still have them after all this? i'm afraid all this ivermectin and poultry dust is going to do her in, but the mites will still be going strong.
