I was thinking that but I feel like I remember there being some specific circumstance, like they were still way too young to mate. I'll have to look back at my photos and see what age they were. when it happened.

My Males were only 4 months old when they started chasing and trying to mate with my Hens. Some seem to mature rather soon.

My Runners and Buffs were mating at 4 months freaked me out since before them I only had Muscovy and they sexually mature at 9 monrhs old here.

My flock all started about 4 months to mate and many of my girls started to lay shortly after at 4.5 months

I have 3 babies in the egg that are now 45 to 51 hours since first seeing internal pip
All 3 needed safety holes and will need full assistance
I may attempt later tonight
They are chirping away
Another got a bruise at the wrong end and I made a safety hole around 6 am
Everyone else has internal between last night and this morning
One has made his external
Please let the rest do it themselves. 4 assists are way more then I wanted to do
Daisy had these eggs under her first so I’m not sure if some issues are eggs were a bit to small or what is happening. But I’m not worried about loosing them I know how to assist
Just really wanted to enjoy watching them hatch on their own
I have left the holes small enough I don’t have to wet the membrane
Wish me luck
Want to add the original safety hole was pin size. I only increased the hole at 36 after internal pip
