I guess I was kinda abused
I had to go pick up dashers fungal meds and a new medicam along with 61 dollars I owed from last Friday when I lost my bank card
370.00 later

While I was there the one girl said the baby went peacefully
I only dropped her off as they didn’t have any appointments open but let me drop her off and when a vet had a minute they would put her down
The girls cuddled her and loved her
The one even took a picture of her
She showed me of her holding her
So glad they made her last bit full of love
I’m there so much they treat me very well
They also didn’t charge me to put her down

That sounds like a really nice place
Only been to my exotics vet one time, but the receptionists were so excited to meet Dougie which made me feel a little better about going in there. She was pretty popular lol

The local vet sees dasher do often they all know her
One time a customer sitting close to me says is that a duck in the crate
I said yes and one of the girls says at the front
Yes that’s dasher the duck
She is our weekly regular
They just adore her

I was sitting with her in her carrier, quacking
Just chatting to me, a little anxious

And the person opposite stared for a while and finally goes "that's a duck?"

And then some kids came in, stare in awe and turn to the mum going "there's a duck in there!"

We felt like celebrities

Exotic or avian is okay, but not everyone has access to one, I'm pretty lucky that I found this one, the second nearest is over an hours drive away

I'm not feeling too good today, but had a really good cuddle with Sprightly. She just stood letting me stroke her and giving her kisses while she nibbled my trouser. She's such a sweetheart
She's probably confused why I keep "pecking" her head, but just let's me

I observed some abusive behaviour though, while out. Dougie was vibrating at Spright everytime I offered her food! Jeez some dominance or something going on there. I held her back so Spright could eat her share, and my arm relieved the brunt of Dougie's wrath
She wasn't being that bad, just super hormonal. I'll keep an eye on that tomorrow!
