My husband is the breadwinner so he handles all the finances. Hes very well aware how much money I spend on my animals
I'm not too crazy, though. He gives me a lot of leeway because I have shown good judgment. I try not to get carried away because I want to be respectful of him and how hard he works to provide for us.

I know this feel. I occasionally get questions of "why did you buy...?" And then he gets a 20 minute dissertation on what that particular thing will do, and why we want it to... It's possible I'm a little nerdy about this stuff. Lol

My boy dog does this too. He just wants to make sure everyone is good.... He is less pleased that he cannot lick their butts.

Also, another culture, or I guess lifestyle shock I had yesterday. This has obviously been a known fact to me for ages, but I still can't wrap my head around it. So I was watching a video on YouTube, and the person said, "we only live six hours away from Disneyland, so it should be an OK trip" WHAT- you all are doing 8 hour road trips like it's a regular Tuesday while for us that's literally across the country. Our limit is 2 hours, more than that is a struggle

I visited another country at some point, and they were also horrified at driving distances. ... I live 40 minutes (minimum) from a decent sized town these days, and I prefer it that way.

At the time I visited the other country, I lived 6 hours away from my brother... The people in Ireland reacted similarly.

Yeah, I don't blame them. We should really find a faster way to travel. Scientists should stop trying to revive the mammoths and start finding ways to recreate the pegasus

Bread isn’t good for them
But I have used grapes for antibiotics before
Small grape cut in half pull out some of the inside gives a little bowl
Then squirt the b compex in
You can do this until you get the full dose in

The bread exposure has been very minimal. I'll try that trick though! I had tried giving it directly before, but she starts gasping and it terrifies me that she may aspirate

Im glad my family likes it

My folks aren't that keen either. They never buy it, and I never want it enough to buy it for just me, so instead I have cucumber with a light sprinkle of sugar on top. Shockingly it tastes very very similar to watermelon and makes a good dessert!

This year we expanded the yard so I hope they will be able to get them on their own
