Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

That is kind of sad to think about, at least your girls have an amazing life of abusing you (and Sprightly surfboarding on Dougie)
I looked out the window the other day and saw Sprightly sailing on Dougie as they floated around the pool.
She really doesn't have a clue, just jumps on and hopes for the best

I watched stormy mount pearly while peep stood back and watched lol
I mean really girls I have 4 drakes and my girls still jump on each other 😂

Without this ability to forget where would second babies come from?
And wouldn't we all stop after our first broken heart?

Oh! Ducks that are happy to go home in the evening? How do you manage that? Only my Muscovy ever did that, but on their schedule. If I was not there to get them settled in, they would go back out on the pond and refuse to go in.
I'm playing the catch up game with this thread, (so sorry if it's already been answered) but I herded the ducks in with the chickens at night. I think it took maybe 5 nights the first go around to get them to go by themselves, and when we moved (and drastically expanded) the coop, they learned to go in faster than the chickens.

A few times a year my ducks get spoiled with watermelon
I cut it in quarters and let them go to town
They love this and corn on the cob
Mind you the price of watermelon has home through the roof
This one was 8.99 😡
They didn’t waste a bite though
Is it true the watermelon is gone in seconds. I love watermelon, but here its $11 for a small watermelon. I grow my own every year and never get a chance to eat them all.

instead I have cucumber with a light sprinkle of sugar on top. Shockingly it tastes very very similar to watermelon and makes a good dessert!
