I have a Muscovy sitting on two live eggs and she saves her abuse for any bird that gets too close. BUT when I go into candle she squeaks so much I feel like she needs greased.

Will you let her raise them Miss Lydia or will you take them once they hatch? I didn't know if she would wonder why they look so funny, lol. I really don't think ducks care though as my Mallard Momma does not care that one baby looks like my Black Swedish Call duck while the others all look like her.

As long as she is a good mommy she gets to keep them. She has hatched Runners before and like you say they don't care as long as they get to hatch. lol

I have abuse to report! So last night i took both ducks out and held them. Well checking their feet and feathers. Toxic was ok with it she snuggled her head into my elbow. Meanwhile when i pick i Tsunami, the neighbor wanted to see her so i carried her 20 ft from her coop to the fence. And then when im taking her back she bites me in my neck.........

I know how hard it can be, none of your non poultry friends would understand- the struggle of keeping ducks.

Ducks can be very rude and disrespectful creatures. Full of sass, full of wrath.

I have a sick runner. My poor girl seems to be a little dehydrated. She is the only duck among chickens and loves her baby pool. I think it got too warm and some algae has formed in the last couple of days. She is in the bath tub now. Being hand fed every little bit. Prayers are welcomed
