Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

I made the mistake of putting fresh shavings in the coops yesterday. Had to keep chasing them back to the duck yard to get them to bed, they refused to go in!!!
My girls love their coop after a clean out!
And they come out in the morning clean dry white all over and smelling of pine shavings. Clean coop lasts almost a full day too! 😂

Look at how big they are getting 😭. Their bills used to be after the size of their head but now they’re the same size.
Also almost set them down on a nope rope, but moved them to an area with “weeds” and hoses. I took both pictures with my phone, but I’ll upload my camera pictures later for the one I just took.

My duckies are grown now! They’re so pretty (I honestly think they’re among some of the prettiest WHs I’ve seen). They are 22 weeks old and I got my first egg Thursday night. There are 4 eggs now but I’m trying to watch them to see who is laying. It seems like as soon as I leave for five minutes one lays an egg. In order from widest to smallest pelvic bones based on when I last measured it is Blackberry, Figgy, Mango. The second egg is a big honka badonka. Also they still run from my hands but are pretty chill when I carry them around upside down, besides for some small feet kicks. Their personalities are still the same minus blackberry biting me less. If anyone wants to know how to tell them apart just ask.

Aww they are gorgeous!
Congratulations about the first egg!

What should I do if a duck loses a toenail? And should I regularly be cutting them? I just came home from school, and apparently the ducks have been escaping the brooder all day. They’ve been jumping on my bed and I found blood on my bed so I checked the ducks and one of figgys toenailed is gone. There’s blood on it.
