harmless! there are all those baby goslings to protect and a DOG walks by ??? dogs have been used to hunt ducks and geese for hundreds of years!

I completely agree with the attack! :plbb

OK but to be fair, these dogs are either bichons, or maybe a doodle of some sort. So, all these dogs were companion dogs, used for thousands of years as bed warmers, the closer they came to geese were the pillows they sleeped on

Here's the pic of my chocolate runner. Sorry not the greatest quality. You can kinda see the 3 spots, ironically the part I was wondering about (far left where all the toes meet) doesn't look like bumble.
Looks like it could be very very early bumble... I see what you're seeing....
Did you notice any scabs? Not all bumbles have them but it is the norm.
If it is bumble, you may be able to cure this with daily soaks, and perhaps a spray of vetercyn or a dab of drawing salve
That's what I did for Sprightly when she got the very start.

Aside from that, I'd probably just keep an eye on it. If they aren't showing any discomfort walking, it could be something else entirely

I'll have to really look out for it, its hard to keep track sometimes. I didn't notice any scabs, then again he was very energetic so I didn't get a great look.

If it looks like it could be starting
I soak in Epson salt then put on drawing salve and wrap
My scab came off with nothing under so I think she was just walking on the patio to much
