I have the water in a rubermaid container. And the food in a chick feeder. But there heads have doubled in size so the feeder wont work for long. I have tin pie tins. Would those work?
i go through my kitchen cupboards and just try anything until something works. Most of my chicken food bowls are now things I saved from the recycling bin. (I do multiple bowls to lower the fighting) They are eating in everything from take-out plastic to margarine to ice cream containers.

I have plenty of sherbert containers from over the years.

free works! you can always cut them to lower the sides if needed.

Also... secret trick? If they are good at tipping them over, put them one inside the other and inside the bottom one put something heavy (like rocks, marbles, anything) It makes a heavy bottom, and that makes it harder to tip over. I often use old pots as the bottom (with rocks) and put little food bowls inside
