My malamute is pedigree, supposedly well bred. But I know she isn't.
She's had tons of issues. She was the only one of the litter left, no one wanted her. I assume she was a runt

Yes, unfortunately she's probably not. Ethical breeders will do way more than give a pedigree. Although I'm more versed with the US system, it's basically the same thing. They should provide extensive health testing dating back to the (great) grand parents, they should prove that they prove their dogs in at least one venue, they should obviously be able to trace your dogs lineage 5 generations back, and they should always have a spot open for the dog back in their homes in case the worst happens

We have another malamute from a different breeder in Ireland, and they actually are proper breeders. Our girl's sister and aunt are show dogs who've won competitions
She's way different to my Storm. She has a healthy appetite, a thick muscular body, thick full coat well shaped. Even the way she stands

My Storm is thin, her nails are always brittle no matter what we change in her diet and supplements. She's had on and off eating problems, She's smaller, her coat isn't great.
She's seen vets about her eating problems, she's had diet changes for her coat and overall health, super fancy shampoos and lots of grooming, she just isn't the same quality

I love her so much, she's my baby and she's so special. But I can't shake the worry I have for her health as she ages.

I'm sorry :hugs. It's definitely tough, and heartbreaking to see them like that. I hope you don't face major difficulties with her as she continues to age❤️
