Im in the middle, i did try and rescue one last year, someone just opened up the cage and let him and a female duck go. I almost caught the crested i would have kept him, then the original owner was made to find them and catch them. They both had bad frostbite.Oh yeah. And are we yaying or naying?
I call them afro ducksPom pom sounds better
Same, it's the health side for me tooI'm also naying, mostly due to the many health problems caused by the pom pom (I'm refusing to call it a crest)
Exactly. I do have one, though . I do regret it but he's areal good boy, never had walking issues except an occasional falling backwards his bum as a ducklingI'm also naying, mostly due to the many health problems caused by the pom pom (I'm refusing to call it a crest)
Funny though the wild ducks at the lake we go to abuse me tooExactly.
Aww, for sure. It's always a balance...gotta have one week where they aren't abusing you
My local wild ducks, swans and geese are all gorgeous. Some of the ducks will even come right up to you!Funny though the wild ducks at the lake we go to abuse me too
I Always bring a bag of peas , blueberries and cat food
After a few morning of me feeding them they will wait by our boat for us and when they see us come back in the evening they also swim fast to the boat. I even had them follow me to our cabin
It makes me happy though as I miss mine so much
