Ducks are strange creatures. This has been one of the many inexplicable duck things of my duck keeping experience! How on earth do they get their water bowls and pond so dirty so quickly

The rain filled their pool last night. Which i hope is ok. I go out this morning and its already dirty.

Same here I fill their pool by afternoon it looks like it's been a week since I drained and filled it.

I filled a large bucket with clean water for my own consumption, and put it down for *one second* while checking on a broody hen.

Turn around and it's full of mud!!!
