So .. as y'all may recall, I hatched ducklings under a chicken.
The ducklings are now feathered out and in general population.
.... The chicken I hatched them under is a Welsummer, which are the most aggressive birds I have in my flock.
... This may have been a mistake, because my ducklings are bullying *EVERYONE*. One of my ducklings decided it wasn't happy my rooster wanted to mate with the ducklings' mom... AND ATTACKED THE ROOSTER. TBF, the rooster then discouraged that behavior. No one was hurt, but the duckling did learn that the rooster is bigger.
The ducklings keep chasing my older ducks out of their ponds.
The abuse is real, and spread to everyone....

My ducks have to earn their keep here
If they want a clean bedroom they need to do chores
They are at work this morning in the front yard
Fertilizing the lawn along with grasshopper control duty ( we have hundreds ) not a joke either. Every step 5 jump up
Best part is they were at the gate asking to come out to the front yard
Well trained diva crew I have
Stella the goose doesn’t like grasshoppers so she is on trimming the grass haha

I have one duck who loves incubating but hates babies. I have another duck that loves babies but has no instinct to incubate.
And the baby seems to be turning into a goose.

No. I didnt really like the look of them(its kinda growing on me) So i wanted Welsh Harlequins. But got a Swedish Blue and Ancona instead.
