The town gave us 2 weeks to get rid of the ducks.. Im sad and mad. Im already going through a tough time let alone being made to get rid of my ducks. Good thing a friend of ours can take them but im not sure if he will keep them or put them in the butcher flock... i sure hope its not the second option...

So sorry to hear this. I wonder why they have to go??? Noise??? I am fortunate that my neighbors don't mind my girls quacking so loud at times since I have 11 hens and 2 little Call Drakes. I had to let my 7 boys go and I know that they went to freezer camp. It broke my heart but no one would take them and they were over mating the girls. Plus I was feeding them and getting nothing in return. My girls at least give me eggs. Did someone turn you in for them and were you not allowed to have them to begin with? Hopefully your friend will give them a good home. So sorry to hear this.

The noise is the issue. Im hoping maybe next year i can get some Muscovies. This way there is no noise.

Ngl, I don't understand how you can be allowed to have ducks, but not be allowed to have duck noise!

What I don’t understand is people can have dogs that bark 24/7 but a quacking duck is a no no! Very sorry you had to give up your ducks
