Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

I reckon my girls have been getting into trouble. Maybe sneaking out of the coup to go to parties or something...
There's a police helicopter in the sky, been going in circles above our house for 40 minutes.
At first the girls were oblivious but when they saw it go over, they both stared up at it, studying it worriedly. I told them they were clearly looking for someone, guilt flashed accross their faces and they ran in for bed.
They wont come back out.
Clearly they're hiding.
They wont tell me what they did to warrant such a large scale search.... but I told them I'd cover for them.

Alas, Dougie and Sprightly have moved to Canada and their new names are Daphne and Sophie.

They definitely did something🤣

Thanks,
Grain bins are metal corrugated sheets bolted together in a circle, silos are concrete blocks banded together. Here is a few of the ones we took down.

Why does one need that rig, this should do some explaining. First video is a drive around the neighborhood, down the ridge and back up the ridge which is about 35% plus grade and that's just the first 3 miles to town, there is 47 more miles of that to get to town and you need supplies. Second video is of the county grader/plow that is "SUPPOSED" to clear the roads so everyone can get in and out to town, I ain't depending on them as with any other official. Third video is what I find in the ditch a lot of the time, there isn't any cell phone service, I just patrol the roads sometimes when I see it's going to be a good snow dumping. With great power comes great responsibility, Enjoy!
Ah, so apparently we have grain bins here... I just had no idea they had a different name.

Ngl, your videos remind me of the tahoe national forest roads... Like the rubicon... Which explains why you need a 5 ton.

I want a 5 ton. I don't need one though.

Now, for the duck abuse... This little lady sits in this nesting box all day, but comes out at night. Is she brooding? Is she just keeping the eggs away from chickens? Is she just playing with my emotions?!

Obviously your 2 girls are angels and could never do anything that horrible! 🤣🤣🤣...

Tell them I know a place in Texas that'll keep them on the lamb...

All the above!

I said I would, and so I shall, I have created a safe space for duck keepers!
I know how hard it can be, none of your non poultry friends would understand- the struggle of keeping ducks.

Ducks can be very rude and disrespectful creatures. Full of sass, full of wrath.
So welcome to the place where you can rant, and receive support!

Attack Biting GIF

@BabyGotQuack @picklestheduck get over here!
😂. I was giving my 3 month old girls a tub swim today and I guess was giving one more attention than the other soooo. Cracker decided to do a dive and bite her sisters toenails making her sister jump flailing around screaming and splashing water and poop all over. The fun of having spoiled ducks 😊🦆

Had these ducks and geese for awhile, guess it's getting dry out here. Went to let them out, checked the water trough and counted two chipmunks and a mouse floating in it this morning. Went back around noon and found a dead chipmunk on the diving platform, never made the water. Guess the ducks or geese killed it?
I can understand the mouse falling in, but not the chipmunks.

Need to set the game camera up and see what else is coming for a sip.

I have seen my chickens run around with a small animal in it's beak while other chickens chase it.

As soon as the other chickens stop chasing the chicken with the treat, the chicken starts beating the animal against the ground... So the chicken can swallow it easier.

The ducks are not any better. Your fowl probably did kill your mammal. :)

My chickens have had frogs before...

Good, very annoying rats as I would call them. Go off on their clicking/chirping noises I'm grabbing nearest rock to throw.
Camera set up, lets see what we can catch.
