Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

Had a snake get in with the baby ducks (killed one baby) so my daughter tried to get them back (out of the shed) so she could get to the snake and keep the babies safe. Moma said NO!

Mamas can be fierce. This summer one of my Orpingtons[chicken] was broody and a snake went into the coop she was attacking that snake and it was at least 4' long she didn't stop either until it left. Really surprised me she would do that.
My ducks alert me to snakes... If they see them.
My lead female duck literally tracked me down the other day while the rest of the flock was quacking at a king snake.
My chickens don't really seem to care about snakes. I had an egg snake eating an egg in the coop and none of the chickens even acted like something was wrong.

The ducks keep escaping and walking all over my room and bed. They’re so evil, they start escaping when the food or water gets halfway or less full. I have a board at the foot of my bed and it’s like 5 foot tall 6-7 feet long that I lean against my bed, then on two sides it’s walls and on the side near my room entrance there’s a changing wooden divider thing that goes from the end of the board to the wall. If there’s literally an inch or more of space on either side they’ll escape. I don’t know why they just started escaping like this. Sometimes they go to the end of the hallway and start walking down the stairs. Before it was just occasionally one jumps on my bed and then I move the board and they stop. I don’t know how I wrote so much on this lol but I finally got an 8th egg, they stopped for like 10 days. This one looks like it might be another possible double yolker. Also me and Figgy, my mom told me I had to take a selfie with her for my aunt, probably my first or second one, never optionally lol.
