Mayan took off , chasing the herd in his direction. When the herd was about 5 yards away from his position, she howled loudly to let him know the deer where closeNomad nodded agreement and veered off to the far right. He then sprinted as fast as his legs would carry him to get to the agreed upon rendezvous point. Bounding over fallen trees and diving through the thick brush, until he saw the moonlight in the clearing of the tree-lined ravine. He then worked his way down the loose dirt edge to the bottom. Ducking down behind some boulders. He tipped his head back and let loose a soft howl. To let Mayan know he was in position.

Mayan smiled. She looked at the deer hungrily and joined Nomad in his howl, but then stopped , as she remembered that only wolves who are pack members howl together.Nomad held on to the leg, while staying away from the trashing hooves. He watched as Mayan ripped open the jugular with her fangs. Within moments, the deer fell motionless. He released his hold and declared their victory with a boastful howl.
