Surviving Minnesota!

Wow.. and here it is the perfect day...

That's what I get for living in the banana belt.

I had one drop in my gauge this morning. I have been outside all day and no sprinkles even, but it is ugly muggy...

The fog is so thick here.....you can cut it with a knife! on and off rain all day.... *heavy sigh*
glad I got a bunch of my herb sprouts planted in their permanent garden spots yesterday!

Hello

Klop Klop - that is all the time you had for us? Geeze - MISS YOU!

Ralphie - you ALWAYS put a smile on my face. Mikes is stocked here. Anytime. I also have marguaritas (for Judy and myself).

Bog town - I used my French Press for the first time today. Its not too bad. Just don't toss it at the end. I didn't but thought I should warn you. The coffee is pretty tasty.

Siggy (?) Cluckies (?) who ever it was that posted about the FB relative thing - whats the point of FB? We connect so much better on this thread then I ever did with anyone on FB. I DON'T CARE if a person sat on the stool this morning while we were sleeping. Empty, meaningless stuff.

Besides EACH of us has an opinion and is entitled to it. I just don't want to share mine or hear theirs.
I like peaceful conversation. live and let live. Learn from each other - about chickens or praying mantis LOL. Those are good things to learn about. Grafting branches; picking cherries, caring about each other although we would not recognize each other on the sidewalk. Human kindness and concern. Certification, County and State fairs, breeding and genetics. Its all good stuff.

Sorry about the yard clean up Erli and the trees down Bogtown. What a waste of green! Thunder cracking here right now. Loud! Lovin it. Tuna Melts for dinner just in case anyone needs to know. Emeril's recipe. Excellent!

Hey all!!

Had a spare minute this afternoon and though... Boy I haven't stopped by BYC in a while. Hope all is well!

Is anyone interested in getting these bantam chicks? They are Old English Game/Maiden Rock crosses. There are two cockerels and a pullet.

3 1/2 inches of rain and it's still coming down, slower now.

Ivie i'm going to look up Emerils tuna melt recipe.

We just got our first rain of the day. and not very much of it. we always go into drought mode in the banana belt this time of year, so it is not surprising. I hope to get at least a little more though. Not sure why we have a tornado watch though.

Thanks for all the suggestions on dealing with relatives,

Quote: OH, forgot to tell you, my DH was on FB for about 1 week and he was chased off by all her argumentative BS... Also, i've hidden her years ago, but she still finds me on other peoples posts and gets into it with me on their threads...irritating.
