Surviving Minnesota!

Just won our game against Elgin. Found out that a very inspirational man to me died last night... Kind of ruined my adrenalin....

It was ugly!

She complained. fought me. Beat me up. Tried to escape. Lost feathers.

I had my gloves ripped to shreds. The water basin tipped over. My back hurts. My arms hurt. My legs hurt. I will need pain pills tonight.

Judy found it all entertaining.

I tried to pet her 3 hours later and she is still upset with me.

So it is not good.

Busy day . Started out with blood work at the doctors office . Then went a hour north to pick up steel roofing and stuff . Got it direct from the small farm factory . About the same price as Menard"s but heavier gauge steel . So the maker made good money selling retail and I got better quality . Still got to check everything . I suspect I may be missing some small items . Not sure what is in those sealed boxes . I suspect it is the ridge vent . That young fella loaded faster than I could check or remember .

I put steel roof on my new garage. That is as easy as it gets!!

:thumbsup

Cute pic!  I can't not say it though.  Do you realize that her bridle is WAY too loose?

Yes she has a wolfs tooth so if I'm just holding her I will loosen it so that it isn't buggin her as much, until I get the tooth removed at least. I'm hoping to get it removed sometime this winter.

OK, just wanted to make sure. :D

What?  NO ONE is reading MY post??   :idunno

I did. It's probably true, but I can imagine having a chicken living with me. I love them, but not that much. LoL

I'm so sorry!

Moved my chicks from their brooder tote to my chick pen in the barn coop. I need to keep my chickens locked up for a while. When the previous owners finished the porch, they used foam insulation around the foundation of the porch to insulate it, then painted it to look like concrete. Well the chickens have pecked holes right through it. *sigh* Will have to keep them locked up until we can find something to cover the whole thing. That's going to be a long and costly job. My hubby says "good thing you have chickens." :p
