A couple cups of coffee and I've been good to go today. After a hard days work and nothing better to do, cocktails seemed like an ok thing for a Wednesday night

I have a nice Amazon package waiting for me at home. I ordered a string of construction lights. Basically a 100' extension cord with caged light bases every 10' to hang in the new garage so we will have lights in there for the party and probably on through winter until I get permanent wiring done. Still trying to figure out if I will bury a dedicated power line or wait until the house is built and sub panel it. Did I tell you guys a contractor wanted $2600 to bury a line! Barf!

Ivie: I've been looking at that jacket for over a week. I finally got the order in, with your push. You're right about the teal of course! And we'll be wearing our CARHARTTS out to the coop with pride!

Lunch break a little late . One half of the roof is stripped . 16 x 80 . More prep time and them put up the steel roofing on that side .

Ivie:  I've been looking at that jacket for over a week. I finally got the order in, with your push. You're right about the teal of course!  And we'll be wearing our CARHARTTS out to the coop with pride!

I picked up a new pair of knock of carhart bibs from fleet farm late in summer on sale. Quilted and insulated and dark poop brown hahaha figured I won't be able to see the crud I get on them when I'm working, plowing, and playing

I can't bring myself to wear the same color jacket and bibs... I'm not a fashion guy by any means but still....

I find Teal Carhartts are fine before thanksgiving but after Thanksgiving it is a fashion Faux pas'.


II hate to see you women the laughing stock of the neighborhood in your teal. Consider duck Brown. It is the only true carhartt color.


BTW Kloppers mixed colors are out this year, bibs and jacket should always match...

We just left the church. The best part of today was I got to meet a bull rider who is close to the top 5 and is probably going to ride at the NFR

Jerry my dad used to wear those denim ones. You will find them with Carhartt or dickies on the label. Saw them while shopping ... Had flashbacks to Dad shoveling silage to the beef cattle in the winter while wearing one.
