Surviving Minnesota!

Howdy my frozen friends! We had a great update from Coffee over on the turkey thread with TONS of pictures. Boy has she been busy, and enjoying every minute!

If anyone can find the cat in the Christmas tree let me know. I cant find it!

Ralph, her new turkey hen is a sweetie. Porter looks great and love the shot of his family.

But you have to feel sorry for Porter Jr's imminent change of status.

Yeah, well...such is life. Poor Jr. Like you always say, "one bad day".

Her place looks great. Did that baby lab make you think about a new pup? Sounds like it had fun at your house with Pearl.

We have no idea about puppies. We get pretty sad just thinking Reagan has most likely seen her last Christmas. Judy and I thought about digging a grave for her before it froze but we did not. It is getting so hard for her to move some days. Other days she does well, sort of like me.

We will have Pearl for another year or two most likely, I have no idea if we will get another dog or not.

I lost one of my old dogs this summer. Never easy. Have a few young dogs I'm working with. Need to get off my butt and into the show ring with them this spring.

It was also my grandparents collies last Christmas, he's 15 and has arthritis is half and blind and deaf. I domt think my grnaspaeners arw getting another dog after him, let uncle might get one, they seem to have very good luck with outside dogs, they all lives to be 13+, even the one who stuck fire crackers in how mouth and would be tossed around by the longhorns bulls.

Morning all! Busy at work with end of year processing and financial hooplah going in. Been working around the clock most days since Monday. Hard to keep up with you all!!

I had dreams of hatching eggs last night... can't wait for spring fuzz butts. Who is closest to hatching currently? Ralphie? Holm?

Good Morning Chickeners in the frozen tundra. Whew! So cold out there. I haven't been out yet but will have to do it soonly. I know! I will wear my new carhardt with all the amenities that help keep a person warm in this weather.

I think Ralphie. Then me. Then Ralphie again. Lol I am currently impatiently waiting for mine to hatch.... they won't hatch till middle January which is disappointing but oh well. I couldn't hatch their eggs until they started laying and that was during Christmas.
