We are here.

Happy Good Friday all. I hope you all have a glorious weekend. Kids are home today and I'm anxious to clear out of work. It's thin overcast right now. But The outdoor spring ness of it all is calling me. The grass really greened this week in the yard but with this rain coming it should really help give it a nice go. The chickens are so happy. Junior crowed and crowed this morning. There's such a difference in their personality from being winter chickens. I love seeing spring summer and fall chickens. Those are their seasons for sure.

Kids went to the Orpheum theater yesterday with their band group and saw Wicked. They got home about 9:00ish and they could stop talking about the production. Both kids. Even the boy. They were awed. I need to do more stuff with them like that. I'm so glad they enjoyed the theater and the orchestra. I like it too.

Celebrating Easter tomorrow at G & G's up on the Bog. Sister coming with BIL and nephew. Hatching eggs in tow. Kids are excited, I'm excited. Happy Easter all.

Ooo. I just saw my 5 year tag. On April 13th I brought home Tootsie and 8 other chicks from L & M. I thought they'd all be dead at the end of that summer. And the coop would be a playhouse. And here I am... coop still a chicken house and getting pooped in.

The kids have grown so much since then. But we all still love the chickens.
