Merry Christmas Everybody. If I get caught up on my Mom-Christmas stuff you may see more of me on here. But maybe I'll just soak up my 17 year olds too. It's been a heck of a year. Thank you all for your wit and BYC hugs when needed. Truly amazing folks on here and lots of good and smiles and laughs to be had. Thanks for listening to all my chicken stuff too.
Went down to Ripley yesterday to see the Wreaths across America tribute. My gosh that place is an amazing resting place for the folks. Such reverence and care there. I knew it was a special place but just didn't know how special of a place it really was. First Class. And the place was BUSY too. Like 30 cars all over the place. Driving through. It is quite a vision out there. The wreaths were laid last weekend. My sister and I will volunteer for it next year we've decided.
Just when I was having some relief that Freya was growing back some striped bird feathers, a lavender explosion/pillow fight happened in the coop. That lavender that's been laying forever, Otilia. She has now officially shut down her egg factory. Protein going towards feather building before the next polar Vortex. For the love of Pete. I think she was a late chick. She's from that July August brood from some southie in Illinois I think. LOL. And his initials may be (J. S.) But I am forever grateful for Ameraucana pullet deliveries to my doorstep. Beggers can't be choosers for drool worthy birds.
Quite the Christmas present Holms. Beautiful. You will have a nut job with the Australian Shepherd. LOL. Thank goodness he/she is on the farm.
Well I'm going to check out for now. Several of my presents did not arrive from China on time. (I wish websites disclosed where they are shipping from) So my pile of presents to wrap are short.
Christmas Peace to you all.
