Surviving Minnesota!

No wyandotte eggs hatching yet, it's been hard to keep the eggs from freezing.
Cochins are all getting feathered in again, both cocks are looking really good along with the 2 younger hens. I'm hoping they'll be able to naturally breed somewhat this year, I'd like to hatch some out with my small flock.
I got my state fair check, which was a big chunk of money considering I took a total of 3 birds.

I only have a few days a year when the girls act like jerks. Then its over... and the rest of the year is great!
Duck hens squabble off and on year round it seems!
I've got one that's been going through a horrendous molt. Poor girl. The others laugh and pick on her like mean high school wenches.

Oh and since your here. .here's a show and tell.
Here's the hound last night telling me to sit back down he did not wanna go to bed yet. He wanted to watch more tv. He even said pretty please. .

Poor dejected unloved puppy!

Jerry, I have low uric levels on my blood tests. Which make me question the ER doc saying I have gout.. I have never taken any meds for it.

But it hurts like H- e double hockey sticks.

Wrapping it and a couple good Meds takes the edge off it. So who knows.
If it is gout, eating cherries can really help.
