Surviving Minnesota!

My poultry days are indeed winding down.

However, I am busy with syrup making at the moment.

I am thinking about getting rid all my turkeys, incase any of you are interested.

I am finally getting eggs again after the long dry spell.

My feed is nearly nothing as they are finding so much to eat outside.

On a side note, I came across moose poop yesterday while tapping birch. I was surprised to find it this far south and this close to my buildings.
Ñooo.... You can not get rid of all the turkeys

Yes, I can. Doesn’t mean I won’t miss them.

However, it appears I have had too many birthdays to be trusted with them.

I will still stay busy, doing bees and syrup, but I want to spend more time in downtown Togo. Livestock, makes that hard to do.

I did not have my camera. If I find it again I will take pictures.

I have seen lots of moose poop. I can’t think of any other animal that poops like them.

Well Ralphie you are right about the livestock restricting other activities. Hope you are able to enjoy time in the Togo vicinity this summer.
Thinking of that, perhaps that scat you saw was from a migrating Sasquatch ?

The Sasquatch’s poop is way different. When picturing Sasquatch poop, think bear poop and Buffalo poop combined. Also Sasquatch’s will fill a 5 gallon poop each dump.
