I like winter, but the transition and these windy cold snaps are rough.

Ahh coffee , starting fluid for the morning impaired . A little rain this morning . Trying to get outdoor stuff done before my knee surgery 12-6 . Got a class tomorrow morning about the surgery . Said pack a lunch . I timed this in hopes of being mobile enough to run the tractor when the snows come .

The hunters have taken six deer so far, off 80 acres. And saw three more that they didn't go after. The more the better; the deer are overgrazing the woods -destroying it. We didn't put any serious crops in this year - just some cover crops and a fenced garden so we didn't see crop damage.
Tooooo maaannnyyy deer.

Busy day . Had blood draw , chest Xray , and EKG . 3 more things before surgery .
