These look interesting! They all appear to be tailless!?
I believe they are Cochin bantams, although it doesn't say... I love Cochin bantams, they are my fav breed, very round.

Got to check the incubator . Chicks were hatching last night . Looked like a big hatch . Trying to get some grown before June . Chicks fare poorly while I am gone .
Thanks . Genetics is really my hobby . Everything I get into I tweak the genetics to get what I really want .@jerryse Love your fuzzy buns chick pics!! I am so amazed of your knowledge of and breeding of the chickens. While I will never understand it, I sure do enjoy all the pictures of these beautiful birds!!
Hi! I live in Minnesota too! My mom and dad grew up here then moved to Iowa, where my sister and I were born, we moved back up here a year ago![]()
I have 14 chickens- no 13 (one died recently) and 4 two day old chicks! I have a mottled Cochin bantam hen (mother of two of the chicks) and a white Cochin bantam hen, (the broody taking care of the chicks). I ordered some more Cochin bantam chicks from a breeder (blue, splash, and lavender) and am excited![]()
Marshmallow (the broody) and the father of the chicks. I didn't have any of marshmallows eggs to hatch, otherwise i would've![]()
