I wish. My tooth has been hurting so bad and I am in that period between pain pills. I can't have another for 20 more minutes.


I also wanted to check temps as I am a worried about Bert Jr and the gals like I said.

I gave them lots of shell corn I hope it helps. I will have to get more corn tomorrow when I go to dentist.

They are as stubborn as a pony refusing to use the coop. But I did get an egg out of it!!

-22 here this morning. I'm here at work now, and worried. Hope the sun comes out quick.

-17 this morning and the faucet in my shed was froze up so I had to haul water this morning from the house. Everybody appeared to be surviving but my rooster, Buck, had frost on his back this morning. I'm not sure why. No other frost in the coops and it was dry as an old bone in there. He usually sleeps on the floor in the corner so I haven't a clue?? He didn't seem to mind it except when I grabbed him to check him over he was less than thrilled. No signs of injury or frost bite.

Despite the -17 my shed was 18 this AM with the kittens. That continues to amaze me!

No need to go to the dentist now. BUT the woman I live with knows how much I hate going to the dentist. So she made me an appointment today just to be mean!

It has warmed up fast here. It was 18 below when I got up now it is at -15. At the rate it is warming (3 degrees an hour) it will be 70 degrees in a little over 28 hours.

I will welcome a 70 degree day tomorrow!

I am thinking of making some for supper tonight. I will use Judy's last can of beer in return for her making me go to the dentist...

It's always best hot from the oven dripping with butter. I've eaten it cold and it's good that way and toasted.
