Surviving Minnesota!

That is very interesting Jerry.

You know that Son of Ole I have from the hen that escaped for an hour last year has the gold duckwing on him. It is very pronounced. It was easier to see before he got 6 inch saddle feathers, but it is still there.

I m not keeping him though he is going to somewhere near Fargo. A woman with EE wants him. When she learned I had an EE CLB crossed she wanted him, when she learned his father most likely carried the blue egg gene she really wanted him. To the point she made a decent offer for him and is allowing me to use him until early May for my own EEs.

I am actually wondering what her plan is. She says she just wants to blue up her eggs. I would have thought she could find a blue egg layer closer than me.. Maybe she saw something in his pictures she liked..LOL

Hey everyone, it's mbeen 3 weeks since I've seen my critters. I hear I have a broody BA. No clue if there are any eggs under her or not.

Maybe you'll go home to baby chicks!!

hang in there!
How is your husband doing?

Today is so warm I did chores in shorts. It showed 58 on my garage thermometer. It looks like we are due for rain

The chickens were out at the crack of dawn today when I went out. They are really enjoying the warm weather

I know!

It was so warm yesterday I took my long Johns off for the afternoon.

I still had my coveralls though.
