Jerry, do not tie your safety rope to the car as an anchor. I have heard stories about that. On a more serious note hope all is well. As one ages their reflexes and agility deteriorate along with ability to bounce back.
Head injuries can be a big problem. I have had experience with that long ago and am like you lucky to be here to recall it.

Construction accidents are one reason my husband is well insured with disability and life insurance! haha I have told him once upon time he was worth more to me dead than alive! LOL I am glad that you are well and safely on the ground.

Lol Ed. The coop has little insulation with a radiant heater. Which is like putting peanut butter on a scab when -30. I promised myself I would not deal with another single combed rooster in northern mn 4 years ago. But as the cards have dealt me this gorgeous feathered beast.. It seems I'll be probably waxing on bag balm and waiting for rotten chicken parts to fall off. Oh how did I get in this situation.

Jerry you are a fierce do it yourselfer. Omg! Glad you are safe. Dw should set her alarm every hour tonight to make sure you wake up, every hour. I hope ER told you this. (Brain bleed/ head injury protocol)

Yes they told me . No naps today . Bunch of other things to watch for .

Ok I got a story but first let me say I am fine . Fell off the roof early today . Knocked me out for about 5 minutes I was told . Scrambled my thinking a bit . Wife took me to the ER . Checked out ok . Nothing broken just a couple of head bumps . MRI found a small blood spot in my head . I asked her what happened and she said you fell off the roof . I said what was I doing up there ? I could not remember I was roofing for a few minutes . So I am resting the rest of the day . I think I will tie off with a rope tomorrow . I did this before . Just seemed to have good traction today but not in that spot . Went to the Chiropractor for some massage to relax some muscles . Ate a late lunch at the Chinese buffet . Told my wife my fortune cookie said you take short trip .

Just don't tie that rope off around your neck! I think it goes around an ankle.

@MinnesotaNice I have been busy with all kinds of stuff lately! We are getting ready for hunting next week and then working cows the week after! Busy busy!

Those Muscovys are beautiful! I can't believe they are blues!? And you still have all those different colors from them? They HAVE to carry the chocolate gene I think. Their dad is a chocolate and I don't remember what their mom was
