Morning .

Good morning folks.

I have seen mosquitos in the shop, they must have been in the fire wood brought in and then came back to life?? anyway they are slow and just hanging on a wall so are easy to squish.

good mornig all! 2 inches down this morning. 8-12 due this afternoon and evening.@duluthralphie looks like they have expanded the band to include the banana belt. get your palms covered!

G'morning. Woke up to about 2-3" of very light fluffy crap on the driveway. Got that shoveled quick and shipped my kid off to school. We are in a winter weather warning down here all day and in the bullseye for 8"+. Kind of surprised they even sent the kids off, no doubt they will be out early. I have to tackle farm chores yet and report in for work from 2-midnight. Might as well pack a bag and plan on getting stranded there. It can start getting light out anytime....

WHAT!!!

That's just cruel, starving a mosquito this time of year is inhumane. You should offer them your arm and let them have a few drops of blood.

Morning, I have 8 hours of work to get done in the 3 hours before the bad stuff hits. So it will never get done and I will hope for the best.

Feels like 0 with a windchill of -15, not to bad.
I think we got 2-3 inches here. We have our chip advisory but they just keep extending it

. I think we'll also get hit today.

No cracked eggs yesterday, when I went to go do chores there was only 3 eggs in the nest boxes and one of the cochins had one. I was very unimpressed until my dad said that he collected 8 others at 10 o clock yesterday.

Finishing the Romeo and Juliet test today. I'm feeling good so far.
Pep band tonight. Don't want to go as I have a lot to do since its supposed to get colder here this weekend. Easy project for band though.

Edit its actually -2 windchill is -27

I tried letting the flock out now that it is 10 above here. they still refused haha. they have it pretty cush in their new shed. moved the cat hut and cat food in there too. momma is due any time!

I have shelf chickens right now as well. I got all my chores done this morning and left the run door open thinking maybe a few birds would go out. Nope. The peacocks are the only adventurous ones. Go figure since they're kind of foo foo birds. The ducks go out in the snow and fluff it around like they're taking a bath. Mmmmmkay.

I think the brooder floor was a bit too cold because I swear my 5 week old littles got bent toes overnight. I built the flooring up a bit this morning so it's closer to the lights and call me crazy, their toes look back to normal. Anybody ever see this when brooding in the colder months?

Snow is just starting to fly my way. Excellent.
