Haha Ralphie! I don't have much use for extra cockerels. My kid probably goes to kindergarten and says "Mommy says the boys are no good and bonks them over the head". I raise just a few of the top males to maturity and the rest usually hit the burn barrel long before that. I do expect a hug in New Ulm again...they seem to bring a lot of good luck. I really don't need anything, but I'm too nosy to not go and see what is there for pigeons. I'm a little leery since they won't name this 'breeder' that they are dispersing of his flock of over 500 birds of that many breeds. I have no problem spending a lot of money on good birds from reliable sources. If its just junk they picked up at shows down south and are trying to flip them for more money, then I have no interest. I'm probably not bringing anything to sell either. For the few birds I have in my growout pens so far, I'm not going through the hassle of sorting everything just to sell very little there. Saving up for the huge Waverly swap in April! The only thing I could really use is a few good quality black Muscovy hens.
