Oh I too have a broody hen sitting on eggs. I think 5 or 6 eggs. Started setting yesterday. I think I may have to move her to a different location like in the dog kennel with her own food and water because she gets out of the box and if there are eggs in another box she climbs on them. I had to pick her up and move her to her box this afternoon. Hopefully they were not cold too long. She settled right back down on the eggs and began softly clucking.

Perhaps he has turned into Thor,is it? From the Marvel Comic books. That looks like Thor's hammer there. I don't see a duck squishing out the sides ... Hmmm.... too graphic perhaps.

What is this tool about Ralphie?

I shouldn't even post this here... but the John Deere is not moving. Engine purring, mower goes. But the Hydro static is out. No forward, no backward. The transmission release button in the back is in the right position...IDK. This is beyond me. Off to the fix-it man Monday morning. In the meantime I will be growing hay.

First Envoy, now JD. woo-hoo. It's not just raining, it's pouring....ugh, ugh,ugh.

BC I could not find a picture of Thors hammer bonking little dux.... So we have to use our imagination for that...

Chilly here tonight. The chickens did not want to go in when I wanted them in so I just came in from locking their doors.....Nearly froze my flanges off..

I actually turned the furnace back on tonight.

I want you all to think about this in advance. I'm going to have two cockerel Ameraucanas. Jerryse's lines. One is black and I'm thinking the other is a blue...? He has gorgeous birds and they will make a nice addition to any barnyard.

(How did I do holm on selling cockerels)
