Sure, it rains today.. I needed to get feed and now it rains...I guess I should have checked the forecast a few days ago instead of waiting until I was out...

We did not get anythinf. It all went around us including the storm we were supposed to get hail, downpours, and tornadoes from. Right now we're on the edge of severe drought. Yesterday a neighbor was cutting hay, hit a rock and a fire started. Thankfully they got it under control

Thats how I look at it. However, when the person sits at your kitchen table and asks if you have looked at the message they sent you on FB and even when you say 'I don't look at FB.' there is a kind of implied message in the asking. And they live next door. It won't happen again -ever.

Here are some things I learned recently . The big excavator did a great job clearing brush and small trees . They rent mini excavators . My next go to for clearing . Nobody will rent the bobcat bushhog attachment . People will just tear them up trying to do too big of trees . Next I was on Mn craigslist and saw spray foam insulation tank/applicator for sale .Partial tank . Said he bought it at Menards . So you can do it yourself . Was planning on having that type done . Great idea for small jobs like chicken coops I would think .

This is a great idea for chicken coops - especially under a tin roof because they tend to sweat while melting the snow. Additionally, need to staple hardware cloth between the chickens and the insulation IF they roost close enough to that insulation. They think it is a treat. Or lower the roost.

Ralphie of you have any EEs to get rid of let me know! After that coon I am down about 9 birds and I culled 5 old hens the other day so I am in need of some young stock!

Try setting out fly bait. It is not deadly to any animal that can vomit, but it will kill a coon almost instantly. I wait until I put up all my animals and tell the neighbors I'm putting it out. It will make other animals sick. The next morning your coon will be dead.. You just mix it with some juice or sugar water.

Good morning....expecting rain again today.

Morning . So I see email notifications in my emails again . Found another place to turn them off under manage watched threads . This is a real pain having so many places to turn them off .

Frustrating isn't it!!! I tried to find all the different places to shut them off but I am still getting flooded with them! They shut me down too in the beginning because I sent them to spam. So I feel your pain.

Well I was a nosy neighbor and went over to Jerry's basement. Looking good with 6 courses of block. I sent photos per request, stepped in some wet gooey cement that had just been washed off something with my flip flops so went down to the dock and dipped my toes in for a wash. LOL. (MNChickMom I thought of you with your cement) Looking good and he'll have some great views when it's done.

Did a Brainerd Run for feed and Dog food last night and of course.

Stopped at Big Lots for my Coconut oil for soaping ($12 for a huge bottle of it 1/2 price of Costco btw) They have King Mattresses there...Serta Sleepers $569 and $669. I have not done any comparison shopping....Is this a good deal anybody? I think it might be. DH and I are starting to get achy from that dumb king mattress that is too old and has valleys.
