Wow beautiful show birds. In awe of the Dominiques. I like the PCs too don’t get me wrong. But those doms have been on my wish list. Will evaluate coop space again this spring. Right now I have a full house.

The DOMs rank right up there with SS for friendliness also, (the girls),,..The boys are a PITA and some should just lose their heads. I have 7 pullets and hens for breeding for the spring now. I am going to have two pens of them, I will breed this cockerel and one of last years roosters, keeping 2 in reserve.

It is a pill for joint problems . Supplement I guess . Walgreens has it . I keep seeing ads on Facebook for it . I was having the same problem after being seated .

Let me know how that works, I have such terrible arthritis in my knuckles, I expect in a few years my knuckles will be 2 inches across in diameter.

I got my clock cleaned in the Chanticlers. Highest I got was Second place with Knuckle head in the cockerels. I am thinking breaking Mike Gilbert's legs next October will help my placement next year.

Well I didn't make it to the show as I drove through Hutch but while I was gone the hubs did some more work on the coop for me. Raised up the nesting boxes, finished my PVC feeders and got one on the wall so far, insulated more of the wall, fixed up the roost so the chickens don't fall off it any more and added a ramp. And he put in an overhead light and an outlet. I might have to go out of town with the kids more often, maybe we'll get this thing finished before the real winter starts.
