DS providing for the family this morning and with bragging rights.

No I didn’t not think so. That one is eagle poop and porcupine quills over towards outing I think.

This one is missing a few chanterelles and lobster in its diet because of you jerry and I.

;):lau

And thanks to you all. This is his sport.

Any deer caught eating Chanterelles or lobsters should be put down immediately as a threat to the environment...

Not sure how to post in this thread, sorry if I am posting in the wrong method. We have several lavender orpington roosters out of a group of chicks we rescued this spring and the boys are getting out of hand and need new homes before they kill themselves.

Ideally we would like to trade for a layer(s) (buckeye is on top of the wish list), but they need to launch so a good home is the only real requirement.

We live outside New Prague, 1/2 hour south of Minneapolis and would travel a ways if need be.

Again, apologies if this was entered in the wrong place.

Thanks,
Warren and Roberta

Welcome to BYC and this thread!

We hope you stay with us. We do exchange birds some, but not all that much here. We discuss our problem chickens.

As far as trading roosters for layers of any breed....Good luck... I have a bunch I would readily trade. Mine are still alive by good luck on their part and bad luck on mine. I will be sending them to freezer camp soon

You might find someone to take a rooster now and then, but it is pretty rare. Even those of us that show birds end up eating our fancy breeds....

Jerry has eaten 523 silkies and polish at last count. He is into the foo-foo breeds, he likes the way their fluff feels against his cheeks when he is napping....:lau

Good luck on the roosters and welcome to our group, again!
