Looking for some knowledge and experience, two days ago, Peewee, one our lavender orps got stuck between the hay bales and the barn wall (steel) we don't know how long she was there, but she was cold and one her feet was a little swollen. Hannah brought her in the house warmed her up fed her got her to drink water and she was better could stand but not walk. We kept her in my daughters room and she was better today, but tonight she lay down and went down hill fast labored breathing got colder and less responsive. She passed in my arms. Is this a common scenario, trying to figure out what went wrong.
She was small compared to her siblings, a real sweetheart, very friendly. She will be missed. Any insights greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Warren
MNchickMom you are in a chicken heaven there of a set up!
Turkey day has been good to us. Probably too good. Turkey coma going on here. Two days of it.
I’ve been knitting. Researching Norwegian pattern mittens. The patterns are called Selbus. I just love them. So I made my first mitten. Researched. Colors picked out for my coat. Knitted for three nights. Proudly laid out on the dining table.

I get home Wednesday evening after work to look at my selbu. It’s not on the table.
“Sadie...!”

You can throw an 8-ball through that hole. This dog is ready to go to its new home. Free! Who wants a chicken trained duck dog Pita? Hmmm?
So that’s what I’ve been up to. Knitting. Clickety click. And it appears there will be more knitting than I expected...?
That was a beautiful mitten. Sorry the doggy got itMNchickMom you are in a chicken heaven there of a set up!
