Surviving Minnesota!

It is below zero here and snow is forecast for this afternoon. We are not progressing in a positive direction weather wise. I applaud all who are hatching and wish you high success rates.

Do you have any words of advice to those of us with chickens in the basement, and a wife complaining they stink?

They are not even a month old yet, but they sure are cute.

Put the wife in the chicken coop. Then she'll be glad to stay inside with the chickens instead of outside with the chickens.

Ralphie, at my advanced age I have come to subscribe to the philosophy " a happy wife insures a happy life".
Shortly after hatch at my place they are out brooding in a building designated specifically for chickens. What may the residents of your political district think of a man who keeps chickens in his basement ?
Is it possible that you and Holms are related ? It seems that you are both beginning to display some tendencies which might be attributed to Hillbillies ?
